Performed at Windsor Castle in December 1943. The cast included members of the royal family. The Princesses were living at the Castle for most of World War 2. King George VI and Queen Elizabeth felt that Windsor would be a safer place for the girls, particularly after Buckingham Palace was hit by a bomb in September 1940. Photographs of the princesses in costume can found in the Royal Collection at Windsor Castle.
