Queen Victoria at Windsor Station 2pm - 5pm

138 years ago one man walked 57 miles to take revenge upon the ‘bloated aristocrats’ by shooting at Queen Victoria in her carriage. This shocking event changed the course of history for generations to come. Go back in time and meet Queen Victoria and learn how this day unfolded.

Join us exactly 138 years later to the day of this momentous occasion and at the very place (Windsor and Eton Central Station) in which it took place.

This is a free event. All are welcome and there is no need to book. It will take place in Windsor Royal Shopping (just outside All Bar One). This is next to Windsor and Eton Central Station.

Below is a video made in partnership with Royal Holloway, University of London that further explains the assassination attempt.
